The voice promise, first
Your voice is the most personal thing you give us, so the core promise comes before the fine print: access to your recordings and trained voice models in Tera Studio is restricted to your account. We never sell them, never share them with advertisers, and never use them to train models for anyone else. You can request deletion of your account, recordings and voice models through our contact page.
What we collect
Account data: name, email, and a hashed password (or your OAuth identity if you sign in with a provider). Content you upload: voice recordings, songs, photos for video renders, and the outputs we generate for you. Saved projects also include titles, dedications, presentation choices and any result feedback you submit. Billing metadata: plan, payment status, refund requests, and payment-provider identifiers. Stripe processes new purchases; we do not receive or store your full card details. We may retain records from earlier payment providers for support and accounting. Service records: processing status, errors and verified payment events needed to deliver your songs and handle support. Optional analytics:with your permission, page views, feature events, approximate country derived on our server from your IP address, device and advertising attribution data (including UTM parameters and click identifiers), collected through our analytics endpoint and configured advertising tags, including Meta.
How we use it
To run the product (train your voices, render your covers, notify you when renders finish), to bill subscriptions, to understand and improve the funnel (which pages convert, which features get used), to measure advertising, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Email preferences
We send an account welcome and essential service emails such as password resets, receipts, and song-completion messages you request. Helpful song-making tips are optional: turn them on in your account if you want them. We record that choice and may ask you to confirm your email address. Tips are sent no more than once every seven days, and you can stop them using the unsubscribe link in each tips email or your account settings. Unsubscribing from tips does not turn off essential service messages. We retain sending status and bounce or complaint records to avoid unwanted repeat messages; provider acceptance does not tell us whether you read an email.
Currency estimates
We use your IP address on our server to suggest a display currency using a locally stored country database from DB-IP (CC BY 4.0). This is an approximate country lookup; your IP address is not sent to DB-IP for this lookup. If that lookup is unavailable, we use your device’s named time zone as an approximate region suggestion. You can change the display currency. We remember your explicit choice in this browser’s local storage and carry it in pricing links. Exchange-rate data is used to estimate local prices; Stripe confirms the final payment currency, converted charge and available payment methods during checkout.
Where it lives and how long
Saved projects include your uploaded song, voice recording, selected section and progress so you can close the browser and return later. Draft inputs are stored on our application server; inputs needed for processing and generated results are stored with our cloud storage provider and processed on GPU servers. Deleting a draft removes its saved project and local inputs; removing processing copies, finished outputs or a trained voice requires a support deletion request. We review those storage locations when fulfilling the request. Analytics events are pruned on a rolling retention window. We may retain transaction and security records where required, and explain any applicable retention when responding to a deletion request.
Cookies
Essential cookies support sign-in, security and support conversations. Optional browser analytics, attribution storage and advertising tags start only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Choose “Essential only” to continue without them. Use “Privacy choices” at the bottom of the page to change your choice at any time. We remember that choice on this browser for up to six months. With permission, Meta may set advertising identifiers; a verified purchase event contains the offer and amount, not your recording, song title or dedication. Browser tracking can be blocked and is not our payment record.
Third parties we rely on
Stripe (payments), cloud hosting and storage providers, transient GPU compute providers, Meta (ad measurement), and an email delivery provider for transactional email (receipts, password resets, render notifications) and optional song tips you request. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — including under India’s DPDP Act — by writing to us via the contact page. We respond within 30 days. You must be 13 or older to use Tera Studio; under-18s need a parent or guardian’s consent.
Changes
