Choose an AI music tool by the result you want. A personal version of an existing song needs a vocal performance to convert. A brand-new composition starts from a different workflow. Tera Studio’s guided experience focuses on existing music in your own voice.
Key takeaways
- Decide whether you need an existing performance, a new composition or speech.
- Compare the complete task, including voice setup, usable exports and permitted use.
- A convincing sample on a vendor’s page is not proof of the result on your recording.
Three different jobs
Convert a vocal performance. You supply music with a vocal and a target voice. The source carries the phrasing and notes. Tera’s consumer flow uses your own personal voice for this job.
Generate new music. A prompt-based music product can help when you do not have the song yet. Check whether you can use your own voice and whether the plan permits the intended publication. Those are separate questions from whether the generated tune is appealing.
Create speech. Narration and dialogue have different requirements from singing. Natural spoken delivery does not establish accuracy on melody, sustained vowels or vocal ornamentation.
Compare with a short, representative test
Use the same permitted source and your own voice sample where each product allows it. Include one quiet line and one demanding phrase. Compare intelligibility, resemblance, backing-track quality and whether you can finish the export without unexpected fees. Keep input length and selected sections consistent.
For a gift, ask whether the result feels personal. For a production workflow, inspect the export format and processing controls. The best choice depends on those requirements; we do not claim a universal winner.
Make a personal song in Tera Studio
- Create an account and choose Make a song. Preparing and saving a project is free. Try an eligible listening preview, then subscribe when you want to download.
- Choose the licensed birthday starter, or upload a song you have permission to transform. The song file can be up to 10 minutes long; each song you make uses the whole song or a part of up to 5 minutes. You can choose a section within it.
- Record or upload 30 seconds to 5 minutes of your own clear voice. A quiet room, steady microphone distance and no background music help. You can reuse a ready voice saved in your account.
- Save the project. Review the duration and available allowance, then start processing when the service is available. You can leave the page and return to My songs to check progress.
- Listen to the result before sharing. Paid or unlocked projects include one guided correction with the same song, voice and selection. Download the audio or a song-card video when you are happy with it.

Before you share
Use your own voice and a song you have permission to transform and publish. Voice conversion does not supply missing music rights. If you use the birthday starter, copy its artist, source and licence credit from your project and disclose the voice change. Listen for artifacts, follow the destination platform’s rules, and keep a downloaded copy.
